Christopher K. Bourland, MAI

Principal

Chris is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. He is the co-founder of JB Real Estate Valuation & Advisory, and provides valuation and consulting services for real property located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Chris has experience appraising a wide variety of property types, including shopping centers, hotels, residential subdivisions, offices, industrial properties and multi-family properties. Chris has worked on assignments with property value indications exceeding $300M and has appraised more than $10B in assets in his career. He also has experience providing consulting services to accountants, lenders, investors and attorneys on a wide variety of matters relating to real estate.

In 2009, Chris received a Juris Doctor degree from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law with honors in the Business & Entrepreneurship Law concentration. He was an extern for Justice James J. Fitzgerald III, senior judge of Superior Court of Pennsylvania and practiced law representing clients on various real estate matters. Chris is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. He is an MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute. Chris resides in King of Prussia with his wife Stephanie, and their two sons.

Michael C. Jarrell

Principal

Mike is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and the co-founder of JB Real Estate Valuation & Advisory. He provides valuation and consulting services for real property located in Pennsylvania.

In 2011, Mike graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree with a concentration in Finance. Mike began his real estate appraisal career in 2011 with Academy Appraisal, Inc. He later accepted a position with a prominent mid-sized appraisal firm where he provided appraisal services for a broad range of property types in eastern and central Pennsylvania.

Mike is a Candidate for Designation of the Appraisal Institute. He is an avid golfer, amateur photographer and technology enthusiast. Mike resides in Bethlehem with his wife, Christina, and their dog.
